Melissa Giddens
My name is Melissa Giddens. I've been a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for 8 years. I have experience assisting in general dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures. I currently work in an oral maxillofacial surgeon office at the Trinity Medical Center and I teach dental assisting with VIP Dental Training Center.
Besides working, I love to shop, spend time with my boyfriend and friends, spend time with family, and most of all work out. I'm a really easy going person but also like to work hard and expect the same from others.
Kim Velarde
My name is Kim Velarde. I've been a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) for 21 years, and a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for 6 years. I have worked in both Oral Surgery and General Dentistry. I am currently working for a General/Cosmetic dentist in Carrollton, Texas, and teaching with VIP Dental Training Center. I keep my registration and Certification current by taking approx. 50 hours of continuing education per year. I have a passion for dentistry and truely enjoy sharing this with others.
I have been married for 17 years and I have two wonderful daughters.
Chris Williams
My name is Chris Williams and I began my Dental Assisting career in California, where I was an RDA. I have had the privilege of working in general dentistry, orthodontics and oral surgery. Each experience has been very fulfilling and has enhanced my knowledge and appreciation of dentistry. Serving the public and working in a team environment has been extremely rewarding. I am a 25 year resident of Lewisville, Texas, married with no children (but we have two energetic dogs). Teaching others about dental assisting at VIP Dental Training Center is truly a joy.
