Melissa Giddens
My name is Melissa Giddens. I've been a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for 9 years. I have experience assisting in general dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures. I currently work in an oral maxillofacial surgeon office at the Trinity Medical Center and I teach dental assisting with VIP Dental Training Center.
Besides working, I love to shop, spend time with my boyfriend and friends, spend time with family, and most of all work out. I'm a really easy going person but also like to work hard and expect the same from others.
Kim Velarde
My name is Kim Velarde. I've been a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) for 22 years, and a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for 11 years. I have worked in both Oral Surgery and General Dentistry. I am currently working for a General/Cosmetic dentist in Carrollton, Texas, and teaching with VIP Dental Training Center. I keep my registration and Certification current by taking approx. 50 hours of continuing education per year. I have a passion for dentistry and truely enjoy sharing this with others.
I have been married for 18 years and I have two wonderful daughters.
Jeannine Lafin
My name is Jeannine Lafin, I have been an RDA for 4 years and have worked as both a chairside assistant and front desk staff member for 15 years in general and pediatric dentistry. I'm currently instructing with VIP Dental Training Center. I am an instructor for Dental Assisting and Dental Front Office. I truely enjoy sharing my experiences with others as we bring them into the career of dentistry.
I met my husband of 25 years when he was a patient in the first dental practice I worked in, and we have two terrific sons.
Esther Taylor
My name is Esther Taylor. I've been a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for 7 years.
I have worked in both Orthodontic and General Dentistry. I am currently working for Orthodontic/Oral Surgery/General dentist in McKinney. I am currently instructing with VIP Dental Training Center in the Dental Assisting and Dental Front Office class. I have loved sharing my passion with others, as they reach their goals in learning dentistry.
Outside of working and teaching, I really love to work out, spend time with my family, roller blade, travel , and most of all, spend time with my 2 little angels (teacup chihuahuas).
Ronda Crawford
My name is Ronda Crawford. I have been a dental assistant for 18 years. There are many different ways being a dental assistant can be rewarding . I work in a general dentistry office in Flower Mound. I have been there for 9 years. We have a great team. I am an instructor at VIP Dental Training Center . I also volunteer for free Dental Clinic days through the CCA. It is such a great feeling to help others and give back to those in need. I'm passionate about dentistry and I really enjoy teaching others what I've learned over the years.
I really enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters.
