The VIP Dental Training Center was developed in the interest of promoting successful career positions in the field of Dentistry.  In spite of the economic posture, the health industry remains as viable as ever.  Individuals still have tooth aches, cracked or chipped teeth, cavities, etc., all of which will require a visit to a dentist to resolve.  Our Training Center is owned and operated by an actual dental practice. We have seen very little impact as a result of the economic situation.

Our center now offers training for two different career paths into the profession of dentistry. 

DENTAL ASSISTING and DENTAL FRONT OFFICE 

DENTAL ASSISTING:  The assistant position is responsible for greeting and interacting with the patients,  seating and preparing the patient for the procedure to be performed by the doctor, sterilization, preparing the operatory for the procedure including instruments and materials, assisting the doctor during the patient procedures, recording the completed procedure into the patient's chart, interfacing with labs and suppliers.  Plus many more depending upon the particular type of dentistry.   

DENTAL FRONT OFFICE:  The front office position is responsible for such activities as scheduling patient appointments, maintaining the patient's family information, such as employment and insurance, general ledger, accounts receivable, office performance tracking and reporting, maintaining patient charts (hardcopy or computer), administering new patients into the office systems, and many more depending on the particular practice and responsibilities.  The front desk position may advance into dental office management.
